US: Coal export shipments rise by 7% in Aug'24
Coal exports from the US increased by 7% to 8.0 mnt in Aug'24, compared to 7.5 mnt in Jul'24, according to data maintained by BigMint. Coking coal shipments surged by 21% to 4.7 mnt in Aug'24 from 3.9 mnt in Jul'24, while those of thermal coal declined by 6% to 3.3 mnt in Aug'24, compared to 3.5 mnt in Jul'24.
