Turkiye: Imported ferrous scrap prices remain stable in a recent Europe-origin deal

Turkish-imported ferrous scrap prices remained unchanged in a recent deal from Europe. An East-Marmara-based steel mill secured a shipment of HMS (80:20) scraps at around $410/t CFR and bonus scrap at $430/t CFR originating from Europe. SteelMint's daily assessment of bulk HMS (80:20) scraps from the US stood at $415/t CFR today, down by $2/t as against $417/t CFR on 28 December.
