Transnet port terminal imposes mitigations to ease out truck congestion
Transnet port is receiving abnormal number of Road Motor Transport (RMT) bringing cargoes to the port placing pressure on public roads during the festive period. The terminal has proposed all trucks to offload and move out latest by 23 December, it will resume offloading from 3 Jan'24. Harbour-bound operations direct to vessel or direct out from vessel will continue operations as usual.
