Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports jump 32% m-o-m in Nov'23

• Thailand's ferrous scrap imports surged to 108,868 t in Nov'23, marking a 32% increase from Oct'23 (82,562 t).
• The US led as the top exporter with 31,545 t, followed by Japan 16,683 t and Australia 10,878 t.
• In Jan-Nov'23, scrap imports aggregated to 1.18 mnt, down by 24% as against 1.55 mnt in the same period last year.
