South Korea: Steel plate imports, exports decline m-o-m in June
South Korea's steel plate exports in June rose by 26.6% y-o-y to 107,420 tonnes (t), whereas, imports fell by 8.1% y-o-y to 141,291 t, as per Korea Iron and Steel Association. However, m-o-m imports and exports declined by 30.6% and 10.4% against May?24. This decline is likely due to weakened global competitiveness and decreased demand.
