South Korea: POSCO increases price of HR steel for Jan'24 shipments
Steel major POSCO has decided to increase prices of hot rolled (HR) steel by KRW 50,000/t ($38/t) for Jan'24 shipments, according to a Steel Daily report. The company made the decision after considering the recent increase in the price of raw materials, such as iron ore, as well as domestic market conditions.
