South Korea: Major mills reduce scrap procurement prices by up to $7/t
Major South Korean steel mills, including Hwanyang Steel and Hyundai Steel, will cut scrap purchase prices by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t) for all grades, effective 24 Dec. This price reduction will apply across all items at Hwanyang Steel, as well as at Hyundai Steel's Pohang, Incheon, and Dangjin plants.
