South Korea: Ferrous scrap imports decline over 30% m-o-m in Nov'23

• South Korea imported about 197,593 tonnes (t) of ferrous scrap in Nov'23, down by 31% m-o-m as against 285,414 t in Oct'23, according to SteelMint data.
• Imports fell by 36% y-o-y from 310,175 t in Nov'22.
• Japan continued to be the top exporter (144,738 t) followed by Russia (32,120 t) and the US (10,031 t).
