The South Asian imported ferrous scrap market remained stable today compared to the last close on Friday, with Indian buyers opting for cheaper domestic scrap amid a sluggish steel market. Pakistan saw limited activity due to a slowdown in steel demand and holiday observances (Eid Milad-un-Nabi). Bangladesh too witnessed low scrap consumption, given buyers' difficulties in opening LCs.
