SE Asia: Imported billet offers remain unchanged w-o-w amid holidays
Southeast Asia's imported billet prices remained range-bound this week. Billet import offers for 5 SP grade were heard at around $535-540/t CFR Manila, stable, w-o-w, however, bids were lower by $5-10/t than the offers. According to sources, an export tender of 30,000 t at $530/t CFR is yet to be confirmed. Strong sentiment from China has supported billet offers, SteelMint observed.
