Nepal: Domestic rebar offers remain stable w-o-w on subdued sales
In the domestic market of Nepal, rebar offers held steady within the range of NPR 78,000/t and NPR 82,500-83,000/t ex-works for cash and bank guarantee, respectively. Conversely, wire rod coil (WRC) offers through the BF-route experienced a slight decline by $15-20 to $610/t ex-works. Meanwhile, EAF/IF offers increased to $550/t ex-works, as reported by players based in Durgapur. Trade activities remained sluggish due to bid-offer disparity and subdued inquiries.
