Karnataka: Pellet prices rise in Bellary by INR 450/t ($5/t) amid increase in offers

Bellary's pellet (Fe63%) prices rose by INR 450/t ($5/t) to INR 9,950/t ($119/t) exw on 1 Oct'24 compared to 27 Sep. Deals of 20,000 t concluded at increased offers of INR 10,000/t ($119/t) while 15,000 t deals were also recorded at the earlier offer. The surge in global iron ore, sponge iron, and finished steel prices has supported pellet prices in the region.
