Japan: NSSC hikes stainless steel CRC prices by JPY 5,000/t ($33/t) for Dec'24

• Japan's leading manufacturer Nippon Stainless Steel Corporation (NSSC) has raised stainless steel CRC prices by JPY 5,000/t ($33/t) for Dec'24.
• This marks the first price hike for nickel-based products since Jun'24.
• The increase also reflects higher raw material costs due to the depreciation of the JPY against the US dollar.
• Prices of chromium-based products remained unchanged.
