Iran: Billet export prices drop by $21/t w-o-w in recent deal
Iranian steel billet export prices dropped by $21/t w-o-w to $423/t FOB today. An Iranian steel exporter concluded a tender for 30,000 t at $423/t FOB. Reportedly, shipment is scheduled for late-Feb'25. Iran's semi-finished steel exports in the first 9 months of the current Persian year (21 Mar-20 Dec'24) totalled 4.40 mnt, a 22% decrease y-o-y, according to data from the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
