INSG projects global nickel output of 3.65 mnt in CY'25

According to projections by the International Nickel Study Group (INSG), global nickel production will touch 3.65 mnt in CY'25, up from 3.52 mnt in CY'24. Global demand for nickel is expected to reach 3.51 mnt in CY'25, compared to a forecast of 3.35 mnt for CY'24. Most of this growth will come from China and Indonesia, each adding 400,000-500,000 t of capacity in the coming years.
