Indonesia's South Sumatra province has achieved a coal production of 94 mnt in Jan-Nov 2023, surpassing the output of 2022, according to Indonesia's mining authorities. Officials anticipates reaching a 6 mnt target in Dec'23, contributing to the full-year production of 100 mnt. South Sumatra coal reserves are estimated at 33.94 billion tonnes, accounting for 36.86% of Indonesia's total coal reserves.
