India's wire rod exports surge m-o-m in May'23
India's wire rod exports surged 79% m-o-m in May'23 to 34,758 t as against 19,368 t recorded in Apr'23. However, the same dropped by 70% during the period of Jan-May'23 to 1,18,497 t as compared to 4,00,076 t during Jan-May'22. Nepal emerged as the largest importer of Indian wire rods with 22,176 t in May'23 as per provisional data maintained by SteelMint.
