India's lead semi-finished imports rise over 10% m-o-m in May'24

In May 2024, lead semi-finished imports increased by 12% m-o-m to 49,000 tonnes (t), more than double from 20,900 t in May 2023. South Korea was the top supplier with 15,800 t, followed by Malaysia (12,100 t), Indonesia (3,600 t) and others countries stood at 17,500 t. Southern region remained the top importer in May'24 with 23,300 t, followed by eastern (17,000 t), western (7,600 t), and northern (1,100 t).
