India: Zinc ingot prices inch down w-o-w, lead gains
India's domestic zinc ingot prices dropped by INR 1,500/t (18/t) w-o-w to INR 295,000/t ($3,496/t), following a 2% decline in LME futures. Meanwhile, lead stood at INR 179,000/t ($2,120/t), a rise of INR 2,000/t ($24/t). Hindustan Zinc (HZL) saw slight reductions up to 4%, with zinc at INR 301,300/t ($3,571/t) and lead at INR 200,500/t ($2,375/t). European-origin lead stripping cables were traded at 98% LME CIF Chennai.
