India: Wire rod production decreases by 7% m-o-m in Sept'23
India's wire rod production decreased by 7% m-o-m to 6.42 mnt in Sept'23 as against 6.94 mnt in Aug'23, according to the Joint Plant Committee (JPC) data. However, output increased by 9% y-o-y in Sep'23 from 5.90 mnt in Sept'22. Production volumes of JSWL, RINL, JSPL increased by 2%, 17% and 50%, m-o-m, respectively, while output of SAIL and TSL Group fell by 13% and 7% m-o-m, respectively in the month.
