India: Vedanta to auction 16,000 t of iron ore lumps from Karnataka
Vedanta Limited has scheduled a lumps auction for 16,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 52.5-53%) from its A. Narrain Mines, Karnataka on 1 Oct'24. In its previous auction on 21 Sep'24, 8,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53%) got booked at the base price of INR 2,930/t while 8,000 t of lumps remained unsold. Prices are on ex-mines/ex-lot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
