India: Vedanta-ESL's iron ore lumps auction fetches higher bids
Vedanta-Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL) conducted an auction for 10,000 t of iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 60%) from its Nadidih's BICO and Feegrade iron ore mines in Odisha on 23 Sep'24. According to sources, the entire quantity of lumps got booked at INR 4,970/t against the base price of INR 4,520/t. Price was on ex-mines/plot basis and inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET.
