India: Stainless steel scrap market shows mixed trend
Despite fluctuating domestic scrap prices with bid-offer gaps, the imported stainless steel scrap market in India remained stable. SteelMint's assessment for the 304-grade scrap prices stood at INR 112,000/t ($1,356/t) and the 316-grade at INR 198,000/t ($2,385/t), ex-Delhi, down by INR 1,000/t. Imported 304 is priced at $1,340/t, and the 316-grade scrap is priced at $2,450/t CFR Mundra.
