India: SMIORE gets approval to increase manganese ore production to 0.55 mnt
The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has approved SMIORE's application under the Air and Water Act, granting Consent for Operation (CFO-Expand) for its manganese and iron ore mines. This approval allows the company to increase its manganese ore production capacity from the current 0.43 mnt pa to 0.55 mnt pa, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
