India: SAIL floats purchase tender for 20,000 t of ferro silicon
SAIL had earlier released a tender to procure 91,850 t of ferro silicon (Si:70%) lumps and 1,500 t of fines out of which 60,710 t material has been finalised. The tender for next cycle has been released for 20,000 t of lumps (Si:70% min, 10-100 mm), with bids due by 19 Nov'24. At the previous 6 Aug reverse auction, 15,525 t of lumps were booked at INR 93,620/t FOR, excluding taxes.
