India: Portside South African thermal coal prices fall w-o-w on dull demand
India's portside prices of South African thermal coal fell this week, by around INR 50-100/t. RB2 (5500 NAR) prices stood at INR 9,350/t, while RB3 (4800 NAR) tags were at INR 7,800/t, both ex-Gangavaram. The portside coal market continued to face a downtrend, driven by an oversupplied market and weakened demand, which stemmed from frequent auctions held by CIL recently.
