India: Over 8,000 t of iron ore booked at OMDC's auction from Odisha
OMDC held an auction for around 8,400 t of iron ore from Bagiaburu, Odisha, on 16 Oct'24. According to sources, 4,400 t of CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 58.26-60.52%) were booked at INR 4,400-5,660/t against the base price of INR 3,900/t, while 3,997 t of fines (Fe 51.44%) were booked at INR 820/t against the base price of INR 800/t. Prices were on ex-mines basis, including royalty, DMF, and NMET.
