India: Over 150,000 t of iron ore booked in KSMCL's auction from Karnataka
KSMCL held an auction for 220,000 t of iron ore from its Subbrayanahalli mines, Bellary, Karnataka, on 23 Sep'24. As per sources, 60,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.02-63.82%) were booked at INR 4,426-4,715/t against base prices of INR 4,426-4,555/t, and 92,000 t fines (Fe 61.49-63.22%) were booked at INR 3,882-4,000/t against base prices of INR 3,882-3,990/t. Prices were on ex-mines basis, excluding royalty, DMF and NMET.
