India: OMC cuts chrome ore prices by 6% m-o-m for Dec'24 auction, concentrate tags up 3%

OMC slashed its base price of chrome ore (Cr2O3: 42-54%; 25,800 t offered) from South Kaliapani and Sukrangi mines by 6% m-o-m for the Dec'24 auction, tracking a 3% m-o-m dip in ferro chrome prices (as per BigMint's assessment on 13 Dec). Meanwhile, the base price of chrome concentrates (Cr2O3: 42-50%) from COBP, JK Road, rose 3% m-o-m, with total allotment down 7,800 t from the last auction, to 25,800 t.
