India: OMC cuts base price for upcoming chrome ore auction
Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has decreased the base price for its upcoming auction of 40,200 t of chrome ore from South Kaliapani and Sukrangi mines on 19 Dec'23 by around INR 488-1,389/t (5%) m-o-m. The decrease in base price can be attributed to fall in ferro chrome prices in the domestic market on falling stainless steel offers.
