India: NMDC Nagarnar's latest pig iron auction sees lower volume booked
NMDC's steel plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, conducted an auction for 30,000 t of steel-grade pig iron on 7 Nov'24. Out of 30,000 t, 15,000 t were booked at an average price of INR 34,000/t. However, management approval is still pending.The volume booked at the latest auction is much lower than that sold at the previous auction, held on 17 Oct'24. There, out of 32,000 t, 25,000 t were booked at an average price of INR 36,000/t.
