India's medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) prices rose by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) w-o-w to INR 81,900/t ($955/t) exw-Durgapur on 2 Jan'25. Indicative offers were at INR 80,000-83,000/t ($933-968/t), while trades of around 1,200 t took place at INR 80,000-82,000/t ($933-956/t. Limited production in the region and rise in manganese ore prices can be attributed to elevated offers of medium-carbon SiMn.
