India: Major producer hikes ERW pipe prices for early-Nov'24 sales
A major eastern India-based steel manufacturer, specialising in ERW pipes, has announced an increase in list prices by approximately INR 1,000/t ($12/ton) m-o-m for early-Nov'24 sales. Post revision, effective prices for base grade ERW pipes (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm thickness) are at INR 61,000/t ($723/t) ex-Jharkhand, excluding GST at 18%. The company has announced a price adjustment, driven primarily by the escalation in raw material costs.
