India: JSPL and RINL ink MoU to boost production
JSPL and RINL have inked an MoU to operationalise RINL's Blast Furnace-3 (BF-3). This initiative, set to commence on 30 December, 2023, aims to increase monthly hot metal production by 2,00,000 t. The collaboration will enable the utilisation of additional liquid steel for slab casting and hot-rolled coils at JSPL's hot strip mill in Angul, nearing commissioning.
