India: HR strip prices show mixed trends in major markets
HR strip (patra) prices inched up by INR 100/t ($1/t) d-o-d in Mandi, where deals were heard concluded of around 1000 t. Meanwhile, prices in Raipur remained stable d-o-d. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 43,900/t ($527/t) exw-Raipur and INR 46,400/t ($557/t) exw-Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
