India: HR strip prices show mixed trends in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices declined by INR 400/t ($5/t) d-o-d in Mandi, where deals were heard concluded of around 550 t. Meanwhile, prices in Raipur edged down by INR 100/t ($1/t) d-o-d. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 42,300/t ($508/t) exw-Raipur and INR 45,000/t ($541/t) exw-Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
