India: HR strip prices show mixed trends in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices inched up by INR 100/t ($1/t) d-o-d in Mandi Gobindgarh, where deals were heard concluded of around 1900 t. Meanwhile, prices in Raipur decreased by INR 300/t ($4/t) d-o-d. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 43,000/t ($516/t) exw-Raipur and INR 44,300/t ($532/t) exw-Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
