India: HR strip prices show mixed trends in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices were stable d-o-d in Mandi Gobindgarh, where a deal was heard concluded of around 500t. Meanwhile, prices in Raipur decreased by INR 200/t ($2/t) d-o-d. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 43,900/t ($527/t) exw-Raipur and INR 45,300/t ($544/t) exw-Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
