India: HR strip prices remain stable d-o-d in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices remained stable d-o-d in the key markets of Mandi Gobindgarh and Raipur today. Deals of around 500 t were heard concluded at Raipur and around 1500 t at Mandi. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stood at INR 46,000/t ($553/t) exw-Mandi Gobindgarh and INR 42,800/t ($515/t) exw-Raipur. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
