India: HR strip prices remain stable d-o-d in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices remained stable d-o-d in the key markets of Mandi Gobindgarh and Raipur today. Deals of around 900 t were heard concluded at Mandi and around 200 t at Raipur. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 47,000/t ($566/t) exw-Mandi Gobindgarh and INR 44,000/t ($530/t) exw-Raipur. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
