India: HR strip prices edge up d-o-d in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices edged up by INR 200/t ($2/t) d-o-d in Raipur and Mandi today. Approximately 1000 t of deals were closed in Mandi and Raipur. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 44,600/t ($535/t) exw-Raipur and INR 45,500/t ($546/t) exw-Mandi. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
