India: HR strip prices edge down d-o-d in key markets
HR strip (patra) prices edged down by INR 100/t ($1/t) d-o-d in Raipur and Mandi today. A deal was heard concluded of around 300t in Mandi, Gobindgarh. Current base-grade patra (148-200 mm, 2 mm thick) prices stand at INR 44,600/t ($536/t) exw-Raipur and INR 45,500/t ($547/t) exw-Mandi. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
