India: Hindalco, Balco raise aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 5,000/t ($60/t)

India's primary producers raised aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 5,000/t ($60/t) today, compared to 26 Sep'24. Post-revision, Hindalco's prices stood at INR 252,500/t ($3,017/t), up by INR 5,000/t ($60/t), and Balco's were at INR 254,250/t ($3,038/t), up by INR 4,500/t ($54/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,629/t.
