India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($40/t)

Hindalco and Balco, India's leading aluminium producers, have reduced aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($40/t) today compared to 18 Jan'25. Post-revision, Balco's prices are INR 269,000/t ($3,108/t), down INR 3,500/t ($40/t), and Hindalco's at INR 270,250/t ($3,123/t), down INR 2,500/t ($29/t). All prices are ex-works, excluding GST. Aluminium futures on the LME are assessed at $2,641/t.
