India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingot prices by INR 4,000/t ($47/t)
Hindalco and Balco, India's primary producers, reduced aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,000/t ($47/t) today, compared to 17 Dec'24. Post-revision, prices stood at INR 252,250/t ($2,970/t) for Hindalco and INR 250,250/t ($2,947/t) for Balco. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME were at $2,538/t.
