India: Heavy structural steel producers revise gauge parity
Raipur-based IF-route heavy structural steel manufacturers have decided to increase the gauge parity by INR 200-500/t for angles (130 & 150)mm, channels (250 & 300)mm and 300mm beam, effective 10 Apr'23. This revision was made to improve the margins from steel billets. However, the base price of 150 mm channel stands at INR 52,500/t exw. Trade discounts are hovering at around INR 500-600/t.
