India: HDGI coils export offers inch up w-o-w amid recent deal
Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50 mm, 900-1,250 mm) inched up by $5/t w-o-w at $845/t FOB against $840/t FOB west coast, India. An Indian steel major has concluded a deal of around 10,000 t of HDGI at around $900-905/t CFR Europe, informed a reliable source. Prices increased as EU buyers are restocking and domestic prices are higher, however, end-user demand is limited.
