India: HDGI coil exports rise by $5/t w-o-w in recent deal
Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50 mm, 900-1,250 mm) rose by around $5/t w-o-w to $750/t FOB west coast, India from $745/t FOB a week ago. Deals of around 6,000 t of HDGI were concluded by Indian mills at $800-810/t CFR Europe for Jan'25 delivery despite sluggish demand in the European steel market, sources informed BigMint.
