India: Ferro chrome export prices edge down w-o-w
Indian ferro chrome export prices declined w-o-w due to reduced demand, by 1 cent/lb to 94 cents/lb CNF for Japan and by 2 cents/lb to 93 cents/lb CNF for South Korea. Meanwhile, prices were stable w-o-w at 87 cents/lb CNF for China. Sources highlighted that Indian suppliers struggled against competitively priced Chinese offers, with the latter being lower than production costs for both spot and long-term contracts.
