India: Copper prices edge up on demand signals during festive season
Domestic copper armature scrap prices moved up to INR 765,000/t exy-Delhi driven by strong demand for white goods ahead of the Diwali season. Copper armature scrap prices were heard at INR 758,000/t in Gujarat. Secondary rods were at INR 825,000/t exw-Delhi, with some trades heard. Copper motors mix US/EU prices were heard at $1,150-1,170/t CIF west coast, India.
